Paramo.pngParamo has joined us, including the London branch in Covent Garden; a great example of  successful and responsible retailing in a location where many other shops are still squandering energy out of an open door.

rbra.pngRichmond Business and Retail Association invited Close the Door to talk yesterday. Thanks to Jess Wiles and Cllr Pamela Fleming, Cabinet Member for Business, for spotting the campaign and making it part of Richmond's Greening Business programme. Cllr Fleming has also made a statement of support  and recently made a press release to encourage businesses and retailers to close the door for Climate Week (and beyond!)

Support from the National Federation of Women's Institutes

thewi-news-2.pngThe National Federation of Women's Institutes have given the campaign their invaluable support and now send this statement from chair Ruth Bond:

“As seasoned climate change campaigners, WI members are always keen to prevent energy waste so asking shoppers and retailers to reduce their carbon footprints in one easy step seems a natural fit.

Closing the door is a straightforward and common sense action that everyone can take to make a difference. The NFWI is delighted to back the campaign."
